APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY -  $31,403.52 to  $45,560.16  PAY GRADE: 26
The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Driver Warehouse Workers receive and store freight, load transporting vehicles, and deliver and pick up supplies, materials, and equipment.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is physically demanding, requiring daily lifting of heavy boxes and furniture. The incumbent must have the ability to lift 50lbs. The incumbent will be required to drive a delivery vehicle with gross vehicle weight of 19,000 pounds. The incumbent must have the ability to work the following scheduled shift: Monday-Friday 5:45am - 2:45pm. Applicant will need to sign up for random drug and alcohol testing.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    One year of experience in warehouse operations which included responsibility for loading freight, operating forklifts and operating single commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 26,000 pounds or more to deliver supplies and equipment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
    Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, this position has been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in this position must submit to a pre-employment screening for controlled substances. In addition, federal law required random testing for controlled substances during employment.
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
    A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
Additional Position Criteria
    This position requires incumbents to possess a valid commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
