The Position
Education Programs Directors, Supervisors, and Professionals assist and foster the growth of early childhood, pre-K, K-12, postsecondary, adult, and related education programs throughout Nevada by providing technical assistance, training, and oversight.
The State Public Charter School Authority (SPCSA) is recruiting for an Education Programs Professional (EPP) for the either the Carson City or Las Vegas area. Under the general direction of the Education Programs Supervisor, the EPP provides leadership and oversight of the SPCSA's academic accountability functions. This position is responsible for ensuring that the SPCSA and its sponsored charter schools meet state and federal accountability requirements, maintain accurate and timely data submissions, and demonstrate continuous improvement aligned with the agency's mission to expand high-quality public school options for Nevada students. This position oversees key accountability processes and frameworks, including the Nevada School Performance Framework (NSPF), SPCSA Academic Performance Framework, and Nevada Alternative Performance Framework. The position ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations through high-quality guidance, trainings, communications, data validation, and procedure development. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, education, English, math, psychology, science, sociology, or related field and one year of related experience applicable to the current vacancy.
