Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. The recruitment is for the Supervisor of the support staff within the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation. The functions of the branch include the development and oversight of the Bureau budget, managing the contracting needs for the Bureau including bonding contracts held by State for the Reclamation program, responsible for the retention schedule and public records management, ensures all training, travel, and billings are processed in a timely manner.
Position is responsible for recruiting, training, mentoring and supervising branch staff; planning and coordinating branch resources; developing and revising operating procedures/policies and forms for the Bureau, analyzing workflow within the branch, and other factors to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations. ***THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Special Requirements
    This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
