APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY -  $83,666.16 to  $125,760.24  PAY GRADE: 41
The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
Under the Executive Branch, the Nevada Governor's Office of Energy (GOE) is recruiting for an Energy Program Manager (EPM). GOE's vision and mission is to provide all Nevadans with affordable, reliable, sustainable, and clean energy choices through a holistic and realistic approach. GOE's does this by maintaining and applying an understanding of the energy landscape in Nevada. This EPM position assists in promoting policy, managing programs, and distributing federal funding to meet Nevada's energy needs. GOE fosters thoughtful energy forecasting and planning, promotion of research and development in the energy sector, maximization of Nevada's energy resources, and the wise use of energy. ***THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of professional experience planning, designing, administering and evaluating programs and/or projects, to include one or more of the following: strategic planning and analysis; fiscal management to include budget development, implementation and monitoring; federal grant development or management to include grant writing, monitoring and/or ensuring compliance with grant deliverables; including one year of the above experience at the State, federal, county, and/or local government level and one year of supervisory experience; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and six years of professional experience as described above, which included one year of this experience at the State, federal, county, and/or local government level and one year of supervisory experience; OR two years of experience as a Management Analyst III or Grants & Projects Analyst III in Nevada State service performing duties as described above, which included one year of supervisory experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Special Requirements
    A valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
Additional Position Criteria
    Experience in managing contracts is required
