APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY -  $34,055.28 to  $49,694.40  PAY GRADE: 28
The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Unemployment Insurance Representatives perform a broad variety of activities related to the timely and accurate processing and payment of unemployment insurance benefit claims.
The results of this recruitment will be used to underfill vacant Unemployment Insurance Representative III positions whose primary responsibility is adjudicating unemployment insurance claims issues and making eligibility determinations for unemployment insurance claims.
Special Note: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, English, Political Science, Sociology, or closely related field may be substituted for the required year of experience as an Unemployment Insurance Representative I.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    One year of experience as an Unemployment Insurance Representative I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The Examination
UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE REP II (12.168) Written Exam
The exam will consist of a written weighted 100%.

Qualified applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for interview.
