This recruitment will be used to underfill the Environmental Scientist (ES) 3 position. The ES position with the Reclamation Branch perform reviews of Exploration/Mine Plans of Operations, Reclamation Plans and reclamation cost estimate model submittals to determine if a projects' affected land will meet the 519A regulatory requirement for a productive post mining land use. The position requires site inspections of their assigned projects to validate permit compliance.
