The Division of Human Resource Management, Compensation and Classification section is currently recruiting for Personnel (Human Resources) Technician 3 located in Carson City. The technician will perform a wide variety of human resources duties to provide support to the unit including records processing; providing information regarding agency and State policies; posting public notices, preparing statistical reports, and maintaining personnel records. The incumbent will also process various types of employee personnel transactions; enter into the personnel database in a live production environment; audit transactions processed by others to ensure accuracy; and participate in automated system testing.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and two years of technical personnel/payroll experience which included researching information, applying rules and regulations, and problem solving in areas such as recruitment and examining, payroll, interviewing and selection, and other related personnel/payroll functions; OR one year of experience as a Personnel Technician II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. |

A valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment. |
