The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services in Sparks, NV is hiring for a Grounds Maintenance Worker IV. The Grounds Maintenance Worker IV performs a wide variety of landscape, garden and greenhouse duties such as planting, pruning, mowing, trimming, watering, fertilizing, and weeding. This position Maintains grounds areas and ensures all areas to be clean and free of trash, fallen leaves, snow and ice through sweeping, raking, shoveling, and collection of debris.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Two years of experience performing grounds maintenance work using a variety of tools and techniques; OR one year of experience as a Grounds Maintenance Worker III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Incumbents may be required to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays in addition to their normal work schedules. |

A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items. |

Requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment. |
