Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

Health Program Managers provide administrative direction for programs related to maternal, child and family health, nutrition, disease control, or other health programs.
Health Program Manager 3's manage supervisory and professional staff engaged in the provision of health-related services through a regional Early Intervention Services program to families and children who have known or suspected developmental delays, are at risk of becoming developmentally delayed, and/or have chronic diseases. The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for a Health Program Manager 3 in Reno/Sparks, Nevada. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program: Sierra Regional Center (SRC). This position serves as the manager of Sierra Regional Center who support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Washoe County. Travel throughout Nevada is required.
Incumbent will be responsible for overall agency performance and operations. Responsibilities include implementation and sustainment of person-centered service planning and delivery, long-range program planning, and efficient and effective service delivery. The position must allocate staff resources to accomplish program goals, develop and oversee agency budgets, and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Will serve as a liaison and division representative within the community and work cooperatively with other agencies, professionals, community leaders and consumers at local, regional, and statewide levels to identify health needs, issues, and gaps in service. Will work with other Developmental Services managers throughout the state to ensure consistency in programs and services. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public health, human services, social science, behavioral science, special education or related field and five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a health-related field, three years of which included budget preparation and control, program planning and evaluation, and interpretation and implementation of complex regulations. Of the three years of experience, two years must have included supervision of professional staff; OR one year of experience as a Health Program Manager II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
