Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Personnel Analyst 2, located in Carson City. The Personnel Analyst II oversees Human Resource functions for the Division of Public & Behavioral Health (DPBH) Central Offices. This position will manage recruitment and retention strategy efforts across DPBH Central Office, Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS), Lakes Crossing Center (LCC), and Southern Nevada Mental Health Services (SNAMHS). This role will also provide consultation to all levels of management and employees to respond to and resolve diverse human resources issues; advises on federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures; participates in grievance resolution and a variety of corrective actions, including disciplinary actions; advises on employment benefits, rights, and protections including workers compensation, FMLA, ADA, Cat leave, etc. Develops agency HR protocols and procedures and reviews and advises on classification and compensation issues. Completes regular and requested reports using Microsoft Excel, Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Word.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and two years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment. |
