The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for a part-time (30 hours) Clinical Social Worker 2 in Northern Nevada and will be based in either Carson, Elko, Ely, Reno or Winnemucca offices, dependent on the best candidate for the position. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program: Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS).
This position will support NEIS with determining eligibility for services, providing direct services for families with children (birth- 3 years old) with developmental disabilities, medical diagnoses, and developmental delays, and overseeing referrals from DCFS/CPS. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker by the Board of Examiners for Social Workers.

Incumbents must obtain and maintain licensure or provisional licensure to engage in social work as a Clinical Social Worker or associate in social work in accordance with NRS Chapter 641B and the regulations adopted by the Board of Examiners for Social Workers. |

A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items. |

A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. |
