The Position
Administrative Assistants perform a broad variety of clerical, secretarial and administrative support duties in an assigned agency, program or other work unit within State government and the Nevada System of Higher Education.

The Nevada Division of Child and Family Services is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant II (AA2) position located in Las Vegas for the Intensive In-Home Clinical Team Program (IIHCT). The AA2 is an integral member of the IIHCT Program and provides support to the program supervisor and teams assigned to this program. Incumbents perform a variety of tasks to include receiving and processing referrals to the program; assist with scheduling; is the lead for resource management for the team; completes work within the electronic health record; interfaces with the public and team members. This position requires travel between multiple locations to complete some duties. Ideal candidates possess strong organizational skills, able to take initiative; have creative problem solving skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of the team. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Graduation from high school or equivalent education and two years of clerical and administrative support experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records and files; preparing a variety of materials using a personal computer or word processor; assisting customers in completing forms and applications; and/or performing secretarial duties in support of professional staff; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Special Notes
    The ability to travel at least 25% of the time is required.
Special Requirements
    A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
    This position may require working evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
    This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
Skills Required
    Fluent in Spanish and English.
