Program Officer I operates as a coordinator of operations to the Administrator, DHRM, ensuring seamless operations by managing a myriad of administrative tasks and responsibilities. The Program Officer will be responsible for strategic tasks as well; project management, research, preparing reports, and even making key decisions in the absence of the administrator. This requires them to deeply understand the organization's goals, operations, and culture. The Program Officer will need to be a strategic partner who proactively anticipates the needs of the executive and the larger organization, demonstrating a unique blend of organizational skills, adaptability, and foresight. The Program Officer manages the administrator's calendar, coordinate meetings and events, handles travel arrangements, and process important documents. Further, the Program Officer often interacts with other employees, stakeholders, and external parties on behalf of the administrator, requiring them to be both diplomatic and discreet in handling confidential information.
