The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Under immediate supervision, incumbents perform a variety of duties at the sub-journey level while receiving training for advancement to an entry-level professional class related to fiscal or business management functions in State government.
Incumbents receive training in performing the duties relevant to the class they are underfilling. This is the trainee level in the series and incumbents may progress to the next level in this series by meeting the minimum qualifications, satisfactory performance, and with the recommendation of the appointing authority.
Position is underfilling for Management Analyst 2. This position serves as the certified contract and subgrant manager and agency monitor for all agency contracts/subgrants. This position will plan, organize, and coordinate the contract management process, as well as provide technical assistance to staff in the development of contracts. The incumbent facilitates Request for Proposals (RFPs), leases, inter-local and intra-local agreements as well as amendments. Incumbent will ensure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text, budgets, and attachments along with confirms contractual documents are accurate, complete, meet state regulations, and deadlines are met. Position will also process all contract/subgrant payments in Advantage. This position will ensure compliance with all State and Federal guidelines as appropriate in the development and management of subgrants as well as development and implementation of new or revised policy and procedure for these tasks. This position will assist with annual inventory, participate in internal meetings, and help with projects, as assigned.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of administrative support experience in the field the applicant is to be trained; OR Current enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's program offered by an accredited college or university in business or public administration, accounting, finance, or closely related field as part of the NSHE apprenticeship program; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
