Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
The Division of Health Care Financing and Policy (DHCFP) is recruiting to underfill a Management Analyst 3 within the Audit Unit in Carson City. Under the supervision of the Audit Unit Chief, this position will be responsible for developing Wage Compliance policies, procedures, and an audit and compliance review to ensure compliance with program and legislative requirements. This will include developing policies and procedures related to wage compliance; establishing the purpose and scope of, and managing, an audit of provider compliance with wage requirements; designing monitoring instruments; auditing pay stubs for accuracy; performing on-site provider reviews as needed; developing and maintaining management information reports; monitoring and tracking provider attestations and audit results and providing monthly status updates to the Audit Manager; developing corrective action plans; coordinating activities with other Division units to accomplish program goals; interpreting Medicaid policies and State and Federal regulations; and performing necessary regulatory, historical, and technical research to provide sound basis for decisions and/or recommendations. This position may require a moderate amount of travel.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. |
