Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
The position currently supports the CORE.NV Project and will be underfilling a Management Analyst 2. This position will perform various duties relating to the project and in addition supports the operational side of the Office. This includes assisting the Administrator in the preparation of the budget, monitoring and processing ongoing disbursements from the budget, scheduling and tracking meetings with the vendor and OPM staff, minute taking at the Executive Committee meetings, and facilitating set up for workshops and training relating to the Project. Assist Administrator with other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and one year of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of professional experience as described above; OR two years of experience as an Accountant Technician I or Tax Examiner II in Nevada State service; OR one year of experience as an Accountant Technician II or Fiscal/Business Professional Trainee III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. |

This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. |
