Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
This position falls under the Governors Finance Office within the Core.NV ERP project team. With general direction within the HR work stream, the position is responsible for project requirements and scope, plans, organizes, trains and oversees project functions. Will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Ensure project results adhere to NV state policies and procedures. Identify potential personnel-related risks that could impact project success and work with relevant stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies. Perform research, collect and analyze data report information.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and two years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant. |
|
A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. |
|
This position may require up to 25% travel. |
|
This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment. |
