This is a supervisory level for server/network administration team. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Supervisor to lead our technical team. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and mentorship, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, and supporting the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking systems. You will assist in the installation and configuration of networking equipment such as switches and access points. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT projects to success.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing VMware virtualization solutions within our organization. Your expertise in VMware technologies will be critical in ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across our virtualized infrastructure. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving virtualization-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain cutting-edge virtualization solutions. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems, or closely related field and three years of professional IT experience relevant to the duties of the position which may include computer operations, systems administration, network administration, database administration, applications analysis and development, and/or information security, one year of which was at the journey level; OR one year of relevant experience as an IT Professional II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. |
