Financial Institutions Examiners conduct examinations in the Financial Institutions Division of the Department of Business & Industry.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
The Department of Business and Industry, Financial Institutions is filling multiple Financial Institutions Examiner I positions. The incumbent participates in the annual examination of licensed depository and non-depository institutions for safety and soundness, and for compliance with State and federal law and regulations. Conducts exit meetings with licensees including business owners, managers, and directors of financial institutions - explaining examination findings and providing recommendations for any violations of State and federal laws and regulations. The incumbent communicates both verbally and in writing with licensees. The incumbent prepares reports of examination and investigations for review by FID Examiner III and/or Supervisory Examiner.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, or related discipline; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
