Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
This position serves as the certified contract and subgrant manager and agency monitor for agency contracts/subgrants associated with 4 budget accounts. This position will plan, organize, and coordinate the contract management process, as well as provide technical assistance to staff in the development of contracts. The incumbent facilitates Request for Proposals (RFPs), leases, inter-local and intra-local agreements as well as amendments; ensures accuracy and appropriateness of contract text, budgets, and attachments; ensures contractual documents are accurate, complete, meet state regulations, and deadlines are met; and processes all contract/subgrant payments in Advantage. This position will also ensure compliance with all State and Federal guidelines as appropriate in the development and management of subgrants as well as development and implementation of new or revised policy and procedure for these tasks. This position will also assist with annual inventory, participate in internal meetings, and help with projects as assigned.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and one year of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of professional experience as described above; OR two years of experience as an Accountant Technician I or Tax Examiner II in Nevada State service; OR one year of experience as an Accountant Technician II or Fiscal/Business Professional Trainee III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. |
