JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
This position is located within the Department of Transportation's (NDOT) Financial Management Division. Incumbent will program various phases of transportation projects so the Department's obligation and construction schedules are met; maintain fund balances of Federal-aid apportionments and necessary project files (manual and electronic); provide technical advice and guidance concerning Federal-aid and State funding and related project information to Departmental staff as well as Federal staff; research projects using various financial reports to determine the status of expenditures versus programmed amounts; and keep informed of the latest Federal and State policies and procedures. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
