APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY -  $33,971.76 to  $49,151.52  PAY GRADE: 25
The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Maintenance Repair Workers perform semi-skilled work in the building and mechanical trades to repair, construct, and/or maintain buildings, facilities and equipment. 
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
This position is located within the Department of Transportation (NDOT) Administrative Services, Buildings and Grounds Division. The incumbent is responsible for conducting minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural repairs to facilities and grounds for maintaining building infrastructure. This position is also responsible for snow removal operations at and around the NDOT headquarters complex and other associated properties. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Two years of building, grounds and equipment maintenance experience in performing semi-skilled building/grounds and equipment maintenance work; OR one year of experience as a Maintenance Repair Worker I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
    A valid drivers license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
Additional Position Criteria
    This position requires working outdoors in inclement weather.
