The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. This Management Analyst II position is located within the Nevada Department of Transportation Administrative Services Division. The position will support the administrative business operations functions for four (4) sections: Agreement Services, Contract Services, Records Management and Over Dimensional Vehicle Permits. The incumbent will assist with the planning, organization, coordination, design and implementation of revised operating procedures, methods, and information technology solutions for all sections within the Division; research, analyze and compile workflows to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations; coordinate the development of new forms, processes, work methods and automated systems; and train internal and external users on processes and information technology systems.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Special Requirements
    This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
Additional Position Criteria
    Experience analyzing business needs and creating workflows is required.
    Experience with DocuSign and/or Intelledox platforms is required.
    Experience creating training materials and providing formal training is required.
