Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Office of Project Management supporting the SMART 21 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project, is recruiting for a Personnel Analyst 2. This position can be located in Carson City or Las Vegas.
This position will be serving as a module lead for Payroll and Time & Attendance, and will be fully operational with the knowledge to support the HR functions. Job duties will include participation in the following: application design/requirement development sessions, configuration activities, testing/training support sessions, identifying project risks/issues, deliverable reviews, status updates. Incumbents will serve for the duration of the project or until the work is completed in this capacity. This position has a travel requirement of up to 25%. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and two years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant. |

This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment. |

This position may require up to 25% travel. |
