Financial Institutions Examiners conduct examinations in the Financial Institutions Division of the Department of Business & Industry.

Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.

This is a Financial Institutions Examiner 1 position located in Las Vegas. The incumbent will participate in the annual examination of licensed depository and non-depository institutions for safety and soundness, and for compliance with State and federal law and regulations; conduct exit meetings with licensees including business owners, managers and directors of financial institutions - explaining examination findings and providing recommendations for any violations of State and federal laws and regulations. The incumbent will communicate both verbally and in writing with licensees and prepare reports of examination and investigations for review by FID Examiner III and/or Supervisory Examiner.
