Health Resource Analysts assist in the development, maintenance, implementation, and revision of State health care policies and programs.
This position is within the Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Office of Analytics and is located in Carson City. This recruitment is an underfill for a Health Resource Analyst II who serves as the main position analyzing Nevada Home Visiting Program data in a fast-paced work environment. This position is responsible for providing routine and special reports, completing data linkages, evaluation and using analytic software programming and statistical methods to complete analyses on data and related assigned data (e.g. mortality). This position requires the demonstrated use of analytic software and statistical methods or data analysis. This position may require travel both in and out of state up to 25%.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree in the health sciences, public administration, social sciences or closely related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. |

A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items. |

Experience in SAS, R, SQL, etc or analytic software programming is required.
