The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

JOB INFORMATION

in this geographical location.
This position is an underfill for a Management Analyst 2. Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation.
This position is the sub-grant manager for the Department. The position manages approximately sixty sub-grants to include drafting agreements in compliance with state and federal regulation, tracking and processing federally funded requests for reimbursement and tracking, monitoring, reviewing and closing-out all sub-grants. The position also ensures all sub-grant documents and processes are in compliance with federal parent award documents as well as compliance with the State Administrative Manual. This position also conducts a monthly audit of the agencies fiscal documents to ensure compliance with the State Administrative Manual and internal audit policies. This position completes special projects such as preparing annual reports, assisting with annual inventory, participating in budget meetings, and assisting with single audit reporting. The position interfaces with Department leadership, Administrative Services Officers, Department of Administration staff and other divisional employees requiring a candidate to have strong interpersonal skills. A candidate for this position must exhibit openness to new ideas and concepts, the ability to work independently or as part of a team and is able to carry out multiple tasks or projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The position is within the Fiscal Services Section at the headquarters office. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business or public administration, accounting, finance or similar discipline directly related to fiscal or business management; OR two years of journey level technical or paraprofessional experience in the field in which the applicant is to be trained.

Incumbents may progress to the entry level in the professional series upon meeting the minimum qualifications and with the approval of the appointing authority.

This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
