APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY -  $51,281.28 to  $76,170.24  PAY GRADE: 35
The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
This position will be located in either Carson City or Las Vegas, depending on the candidate chosen. This Management Analyst 2 position is for the Department of Training and Rehabilitation's (DETR) IT Department. Responsibilities include tracking IT expenditures and making budget projections; developing work plans while working closely with DETR fiscal management; and participation in the division's strategic planning process which includes coordinating with each IT unit on strategic initiatives to make sure that actionable items are completed in a timely manner. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Special Requirements
    This position requires a State of Nevada/FBI fingerprint-based background check as a condition of appointment and as condition of continuing employment.
