Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
The Management Analysts III will be a part of the College Savings Team. In this role this person will be responsible for creating and attending community outreach events on a regular basis. This position plays a key role in the operational, technical, and strategic functions of the College Kick Start program. In addition to using multiple technology platforms, the incumbent will travel extensively throughout Nevada to cultivate relationships with educators, parents and community partners for the purpose of networking, disseminating information, assisting parents in the College Kick Start registration process, and sponsoring and attending events that successfully result in Nevada families accepting their College Kick Start accounts and becoming financially ready for post-secondary education. This position is required to work an alternate work schedule by attending night and weekend events. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and three years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and three years of professional experience which included budgeting, accounting, and/or economic or management analysis and projections; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and five years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. |

Experience in at least two of the following are required: 1) experience working in K-12 or higher education improving student achievement; 2) experience working with underserved youth and/or communities administering services; 3) experience organizing community events which required making group presentations; and/or 4) experience working in client services case management (e.g., social work, legal, health). |
