Driver Warehouse Workers receive and store freight, load transporting vehicles, and deliver and pick up supplies, materials, and equipment.

Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.

The Driver Warehouse Worker I works under the supervision of the Supply Tech II and consults with them on a regular basis. The incumbent will be accepting deliveries of supplies and equipment; verify deliveries against invoices; report any damaged items; examine produce upon receipt for freshness; keep logs for all UPS deliveries; deliver food, office supplies, equipment, etc. to Lovelock Correctional Center (LCC) and conservation camps; ensure all trucks are loaded and secure; check load against shipping receipts to ensure all items are accounted for; and have receiver re-inventory shipment and sign shipping receipt. The position will be working with and supervising inmate workers. Please ensure your application reflects at least one year of full time equivalent (FTE) experience in warehouse operations which included responsibility for loading freight, operating forklifts and operating single commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 26,000 pounds or more to deliver supplies and equipment. A Class B Commercial Drivers License is required upon application. Please note: this position is located in Lovelock, Nevada at Lovelock Correctional Center. Incumbents must be willing to work in the rural area of Lovelock, NV, located 90 miles North of Reno, NV. Incumbents must be willing to work with and around inmates.
