If the applicant fails to take the exam a total of three times, then the applicant will be required to furnish proof that he/she has completed the refresher course as required by the Nevada Board of Professional Engineers (NAC 625.350).
The incumbent will perform basin engineering duties including but not limited to performing technical and statutory review of water right applications; conducting field investigations and dam safety inspections; collecting hydrologic data; analyzing data and writing reports; drafting permit terms, certificates, and rulings; reviewing the work of other technical and engineering staff; and assisting the public daily in-person, by phone, or by e-mail.
