The Position
Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
The Office of Project Management is recruiting for a Personnel Analyst 2 in Carson City. Incumbent will support the SMART 21 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project. This is an intermittent position. Selected candidate will serve for the duration of the project (2022) or until there is no longer work to be performed in this capacity. Duties include acting as module lead that is fully operational with the knowledge to support the HR functions in their assigned areas; contributing in application design and requirement development sessions; participating in configuration activities for their respective areas; supporting testing and training activities; assisting in the identification of project risks and issues; participating in deliverable reviews as needed, organizing meetings, preparing status updates, and presenting to varying levels of leadership as required. **THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE AT ANY TIME BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and two years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
    This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
