Health Program Managers provide administrative direction for programs related to maternal, child and family health, nutrition, disease control, or other health programs.
Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action.

The Nevada Public Employee Benefits Program (PEBP) is recruiting for a Health Program Manager 1, geographically located in Carson City, Nevada. The position will provide oversight to health-related programs offered by the Public Employees Benefits Program. This includes program and policy development, implementation, evaluation and monitoring. The incumbent will respond to appeals and complaints, develop program goals, objectives and assessments and will also serve as an agency liaison in statewide health related committees, coalitions and initiatives.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public health, human services, social science, behavioral science or related field and three years of health-related professional experience, one year of which was supervisory and included providing or coordinating the delivery of health care services, budget monitoring, and interpretation of regulations, policies and directives related to health care delivery systems; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
