Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
This position is responsible for supervising Southern Nevada Child and Adolescent Services accounts receivable/medical billing staff. This position works in cooperation with Northern Nevada Child and Adolescent Services to develop and implement policies and procedures for residential and outpatient medical billing; independently ensures cash inflows occur in the shortest possible period of time by making process improvements to prevent errors; performs quality assurance reviews to correct errors; and provides training to program staff on documentation needs so that external parties such as Medicaid receive information needed to process claims.
This is a full time position with a work schedule of Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM. Incumbents will be working an innovative variable schedule with overtime after 40 hours per week. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis. |

Without the required Bachelor's degree this position would require 6 years of experience, 2 years of paraprofessional experience and 4 years that were at the professional level performing research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures. |
