The Position
Clinical Program Managers plan, organize, implement and direct one or more mental health, intellectual disabilities, and/or child development service delivery programs by establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; monitoring and evaluating program performance; developing and monitoring budgets; integrating programs with other state and community services; and supervising clinical and administrative staff, typically including licensed Psychologists and/or subordinate supervisors of professional clinicians.
This position is located with Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS) in Sparks, NV. This position will work with other state and community agencies with the goal of reducing the need for inpatient admissions. This position will be working in an Outpatient setting supervising Intensive Service Coordination. Intensive Service Coordination provide services to adults who may have significant physical and/or mental health issues that receive outpatient medical and psychological services. The Clinical Program must have supervisory experience. The Clinical Program Manager I will supervise 5-8 staff which consist of Psychiatric Nurses, Mental Health Counselors, and Psychiatric Caseworkers. The Clinical Program Manager must objectively and systematically review and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of client care and services, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with administrators and staff to resolve identified problems and deficiencies; review and evaluate appropriateness of client services including access, outcomes and prevention; conduct file reviews including consumer interviews and surveys, medical/clinical and case records, Facility and Community Based Living Arrangement (CBLA) inspections, and agency/facility policies and procedures; assist in identification of problem areas; monitor high risk/impact areas and processes vulnerable to litigation, or involvement of law enforcement.
The Clinical Program Manager will lead and direct a team in the day to day operations including Case Management, Service Coordination, Medicaid/Medicare Billing, evaluation of Level of Care, Discharge Planning, Social Services and transitional care. They will also work closely with Senior Managers and Administrators to assist in the development and implementation strategic plans that fulfill operational goals that focus on process improvement measures. Must have the ability to review data to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation, communicate effectively any inconsistencies and/or inaccuracies, compile and summarize data for presentation, and assist in the development and implementation of appropriate action plans to approve and assure compliance with State and other regulatory requirements. ***THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE AT ANY TIME. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and three years of post-Master's degree professional experience in a human service delivery setting, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified; OR a Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D) from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and two years of experience as described above, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified.
Special Requirements
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
    A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
The Examination

The exam will consist of a rating of training and experience weighted 100%. It is essential that applications include extensively detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience.
