The Position
Under immediate supervision, incumbents perform duties at the sub-journey level while receiving training for advancement to an entry-level professional class.
This position works within the Department of Administration, Division of Human Resource Management and is located in Carson City, Nevada. The incumbent will be working in the Compensation, Classification and Recruitment section. Duties to include developing and managing a variety of activities such as recruitment; lay-off consultation; examination development; strategic/workforce planning strategies. Experience recruiting for a variety of positions is preferred. This position may also perform duties related to classification. This is an underfill for a Personnel Analyst. Auto progression to the next level may occur upon meeting minimum qualifications, satisfactory performance and the approval of the appointing authority.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field; OR two years of journey level technical or paraprofessional experience in the field in which the applicant is to be trained.
Special Notes
    The ability to travel at least 25% of the time is required.
Special Requirements
    Requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
