Electricians perform skilled electrical work to maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
This is a lead electrician level position under general supervision. The incumbent will perform advanced level trouble shooting on commercial electrical circuits, controls, motor systems, generator equipment and fire alarms.
This position will also be responsible for installing data and electrical circuits in EMT, Rigid and PVC per Electrical. This position will respond to repair orders; establish priority of repairs; diagnose problems utilizing appropriate tools and test equipment; estimate cost of jobs; acquire materials to complete jobs by contacting vendors and/or completing purchase requisitions; make repairs; and document time and material costs for billing purposes.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program followed by one year of journey level electrician experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Notes
Applicants must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for stand-by emergency status.

A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.

A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment.
