The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services is recruiting for a vacancy in the Facilities, Allocations/Audit and Contract Team (FACT) unit, located in Carson City, NV. The incumbent in this position will analyze/monitor work flow pertaining to multiple time-tracking and statistical systems used throughout the Division in support of proper funding allocation pursuant to the Federally mandated Public Assistance Cost Allocation Plan (PCAP). The incumbent performs administrative activities for the Division's Random Moment Sample (RMS) time study system, including the review of position duty assignments of all staff reporting in RMS and performing 100 percent time tracking to ensure appropriate assignment of cost allocation activities. The incumbent will develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to create and update training material for all time tracking systems and ensure trainings are conducted annually for all time tracking participants. *** THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE AT ANY TIME BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
Special Notes
    Without the required Bachelor's degree this position would require 6 years of experience, 2 years of paraprofessional experience and 4 years that were at the professional level performing research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures.
Special Requirements
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required.
    Requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
