Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
This position is located within the NDOT Human Resources Division in Carson City, NV. The incumbent for this position will perform recruiting activities to include creation of position announcements, reviewing applications and determining applicant eligibility, and certification of hiring lists; audit, enter, and process personnel actions; and act as liaison for leave management programs including FMLA. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field; OR three years of experience as a Personnel Technician III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
