In this position you will be responsible for researching best practices and identifying performance improvement initiatives; developing and implementing program policies and procedures; compiling and analyzing statistical and financial data; preparing reports for State and Federal entities and executive staff; developing automated systems enhancements; evaluating and monitoring contracts; responding to public inquires; researching and resolving customer services issues; public awareness outreach; analyzing, evaluating, defining, and communicating system requirements and program technical needs to information technology staff; working in a Title IVD program; and providing technical assistance, training, and guidance to program staff.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study pertinent to the program assignment and one year of professional experience providing social services to clients or program development and evaluation which required the application of regulations, laws, policies and procedures in making determinations; OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study pertinent to the program assignment and one year of professional experience providing medical assistance programs services or healthcare services to clients or program compliance and evaluation which required the application of regulations, laws, policies and procedures in making determinations; OR one year of experience as a Social Services Program Specialist I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. |

The ability to travel at least 25% of the time is required. |

A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant. |
|
Requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment. |
