Clinical Program Managers plan, organize, implement and direct one or more mental health, intellectual disabilities, and/or child development service delivery programs by establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; monitoring and evaluating program performance; developing and monitoring budgets; integrating programs with other state and community services; and supervising clinical and administrative staff, typically including licensed Psychologists and/or subordinate supervisors of professional clinicians.

The Nevada DIVISION OF PUBLIC AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (DPBH) Rural Clinics has a Clinical Program Manager I opportunity available. This position may be filled in Carson City or Ely, depending on the most qualified candidate. Rural Clinics consists of 16 mental health centers located across Rural Nevada with many behavioral health programs providing a variety of services (e.g., Targeted Case Management, Medication Clinics, Mobile Outreach, Forensic, and various other outpatient behavioral health programs).
This position provides programmatic and administrative oversight of one or more of the clinics which includes planning and coordinating new and continuing program development activities; evaluation and assessment of program objectives; assessing resources needed to implement new and existing programs; ensuring compliance with applicable laws, licensure and funding requirements; develop and/or implement performance indicators and reporting mechanisms; projecting program revenues and expenditures; developing training modules and conducting training; working with state personnel and community partners to determine new or existing client needs; and supervising professional and administrative staff.
The position is full time with an anticipated work schedule of Monday- Friday 8 am - 5pm, that includes a variable work agreement with overtime after 40 hours per week. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and three years of post-Master's degree professional experience in a human service delivery setting, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified; OR a Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D) from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and two years of experience as described above, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified. |
