JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Casework Management Specialists within the Department of Health & Human Services, Division of Child & Family Services, provide case management services for children and their families and may be assigned to one of many specialized programs and/or facilities where duties may be performed in the home and/or any similar setting.
DIVISION OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES positions are assigned to provide child welfare services to children and families and community contacts to develop and implement a case plan that presents intervention strategies to meet the child's needs and provides ongoing case management services by developing and implementing plans of care; including home visits; monitoring services; report preparation and record keeping; and providing technical information and educational services.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, special education, human growth and development, criminal justice, psychology, counseling, social work, sociology or closely related social/human services related field and two years of professional experience providing case management services specific to children in a health and/or human services setting; OR one year of experience as a Casework Management Specialist II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience above the Bachelor's degree level as described above.
Special Notes
Licensure by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers as a Social Worker or Clinical Social Worker may be substituted for one year of required work experience. Individuals who have current licensure may be required to maintain licensure as a condition of continuing employment.
Special Requirements
Positions may be required to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Positions require a valid driver's license, or equivalent mobility, at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
The Examination
