Positions in this series provide care, training, and treatment to children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional disturbances in a 24-hour/7-day a week treatment home setting.

Incumbents supervise and evaluate the performance of lower level professionals and support staff, schedule and assign work, and provide training and coaching. The Nevada DIVISION OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES (DCFS) is seeking applicants with a passion to make a difference in the lives of Nevada's Children! The Nevada DIVISION OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES (DCFS) is recruiting Treatment Home Supervisor to be located in Las Vegas, NV. Treatment Home Supervisors provide oversight of the daily operations of their assigned treatment home ensuring adequate staff to client coverage, compliance with treatment model implementation, coaching and training of staff and all issues and tasks related to the functioning of the home. THS's will ensure that parents are involved with the program encouraging them to work with their child and treatment home staff in order to learn how to better manage their child's behaviors and mental health needs at home. THS's facilitate groups that will focus on aggression replacement training, interaction and problem solving, and empowerment skills. THS's are responsible for completing the admission process with youth entering their home. While an initial treatment plan is written by either the CPM I or MHC III, the THS is responsible for updating treatment plans, writing 30/60/90 day progress reports, and discharge summaries. Oasis staff have to receive clearance from Clark County Licensing and will have to complete yearly mandatory trainings to maintain that clearance. This is a full time position that includes a variable work agreement with overtime after 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work evening and/or weekend hours.
