The Position
Clinical Program Managers plan, organize, implement and direct one or more mental health, intellectual disabilities, and/or child development service delivery programs by establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; monitoring and evaluating program performance; developing and monitoring budgets; integrating programs with other state and community services; and supervising clinical and administrative staff, typically including licensed Psychologists and/or subordinate supervisors of professional clinicians.
Clinical Program Manager I's work in a relatively small program or cluster of programs.
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Rural Clinics is looking for an energetic and motivated Clinical Program Manager I to join our management team in Carson City, NV. The position will oversee a full range of programmatic, operational and administrative functions. The Clinical Program Manager I will plan and coordinate new and continuing program development activities; provide ongoing evaluation and assessment of program goals, objectives and activities; assess community resources and determine the resources required to implement new and existing programs; ensure compliance with applicable laws, licensure and funding requirements; develop and/or implement performance indicators and reporting mechanisms; monitor and project program revenues and expenditures in compliance with medical insurance billing for optimum program revenue; present training programs; monitor training activities; evaluate consumer and community satisfaction with services offered; and supervise professional and administrative staff. Rural Clinics is comprised of 16 outpatient behavioral health clinics located throughout rural Nevada. We provide a continuum of behavioral health services (e.g., targeted case management, rehabilitation, therapy, psychological testing, jail diversion, and children's programs) to both children and adults.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and three years of post-Master's degree professional experience in a human service delivery setting, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified; OR a Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D) from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and two years of experience as described above, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified.
Special Requirements
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
The Examination

The exam will consist of a rating of training and experience weighted 100%. It is essential that applications include extensively detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience.
