The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) Division is recruiting to fill a vacancy for the contracts unit. This position is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the NHP's statewide contracts and leases. The job duties include solicitation for bids, providing assistance to staff when writing scope of services, processing contract renewals and amendments, approving contract invoices for payment, applying Pend 4 approvals to vouchers, maintaining contract logs and spreadsheets, and completing B&G space requests and justifications.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
Special Notes
    Without the required Bachelor's degree this position would require 6 years of experience, 2 years of paraprofessional experience and 4 years that were at the professional level performing research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures.
