Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Clinical Program Managers plan, organize, implement and direct one or more mental health, intellectual disabilities, and/or child development service delivery programs by establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; monitoring and evaluating program performance; developing and monitoring budgets; integrating programs with other state and community services; and supervising clinical and administrative staff, typically including licensed Psychologists and/or subordinate supervisors of professional clinicians.
Clinical Program Manager II's work in a single program or cluster of programs, which are relatively large and complex.
SOUTHERN NEVADA ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (SNAMHS) is currently recruiting for a Clinical Program Manager II. The position will be assigned to the West Charleston Clinic. The incumbent will provide leadership and management of the Statewide Residential programs for standardization. The incumbent will be responsible for clinical oversight of persons within contracted homes as well as the statewide certification process for contracted and non-contracted homes. In addition, the incumbent will provide oversight of the implementation of policies and procedures, audits, budgets, and corrective action plans. This full time positon may require occasional statewide travel to different State offices. Through a team approach, SNAMHS provides innovative inpatient and outpatient mental health services for the Southern Nevada community. SNAMHS is an exciting place to work with emphasis on utilizing the recovery model, developing innovative programs, increasing consumer and family involvement, educating the public through a variety of activities, and implementing a best practices clinical program. We provide an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental and vision insurance, participation in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), accrual of 15 days of annual leave and 15 days of sick leave, 11 paid holidays and no city, county, state or social security tax. SNAMHS provides continual on-going training and education to our staff, including paid release time for attending trainings and the availability of on-site CEUs.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    A Master's degree in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option/s identified, and four years of post-Master's degree professional experience in a human service delivery setting, two of which focused on managing a program and supervising professionals in the option/s identified, and two of which included responsibility for fiscal management; OR a Doctoral degree (Psy.D) in clinical psychology from an accredited school of professional psychology, and three years of experience as described above; OR two years of experience as a Clinical Program Manager I in Nevada State service which focused on managing a program and supervising professional staff in the option identified and included responsibility for fiscal management.
Special Requirements
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
Additional Position Criteria
    This CPM2 will be providing Direct and Clinical Supervision to staff as well as Requesting Prior Authorizations form Medicaid for Rehabilitative Services. In order to be Medicaid Billable, Medicaid requires this person to be enrolled as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). In order to qualify as a QMHP, Medicaid requires the provider to be licensed.
    This position requires licensure or certification as a Mental Health Counselor, Certified Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor or Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional issued by the appropriate licensing or certification authority at time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
