This is a new position in the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home. This will be the only state professional service-maintenance position within the home, responsible for custodial and grounds services. This position will be instrumental in linking the State Public Works staff with Management Company operating the Home and ensuring state systems and operations run smoothly, and that the contract management company is exercising sound and fiscally responsible judgment with regard to facility maintenance.

The incumbent will need to demonstrate familiarity with oxygen equipment, durable medical equipment, and bio-hazard materials management. Familiarity with NAC, NRS, HIPAA, state health facility inspection criteria, life safety codes, and survey processes and elements of compliance for continued certification and licensure is preferred.
