The Position
Clinical Program Managers plan, organize, implement and direct one or more mental health, intellectual disabilities, and/or child development service delivery programs by establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; monitoring and evaluating program performance; developing and monitoring budgets; integrating programs with other state and community services; and supervising clinical and administrative staff, typically including licensed Psychologists and/or subordinate supervisors of professional clinicians.
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Rural Clinics is looking for an energetic and motivated Clinical Program Manager I to join our management team in Carson City, NV. The position will oversee a full range of programmatic and administrative functions. The position will plan and coordinate new and continuing program development activities; provide ongoing evaluation and assessment of program goals, objectives and activities; assess community resources and determine the resources required to implement new and existing programs; ensure compliance with applicable laws, licensure and funding requirements; develop and/or implement performance indicators and reporting mechanisms; project program revenues and expenditures; develop training modules, present training programs, and monitor training activities; determine new or existing client needs; participate in professional development opportunities; supervise professional and administrative staff; and provide individual, family and group counseling and consultative services to clients.
Rural Clinics is comprised of 16 outpatient behavioral health clinics located throughout rural Nevada. We provide a continuum of behavioral health services (e.g., targeted case management, basic skills training, psychosocial rehabilitation, therapy, testing, jail diversion, and children's programs, crisis intervention) to both children and adults. Carson City is located in northwestern Nevada and is the State Capital. We are 30 minutes from downtown Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Virginia City. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    A Master's degree from an accredited school in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option/s identified, and three years of post-Master's degree professional experience in a human service delivery setting, two of which were in the option/s being recruited, and one of which included supervision of professionals in the option/s identified; OR a Doctoral degree (Psy.D) in clinical psychology from an accredited school of professional psychology, and two years of experience as described above.
Special Requirements
    A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
The Examination

The exam will consist of a rating of training and experience weighted 100%. It is essential that applications include extensively detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience.
