JOB INFORMATION
Work Type: Permanent, full time vacancies as they may occur
in this geographical location.
Electricians perform skilled electrical work to maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.

This is a lead Electrician position under general supervision. This position performs advanced level trouble shooting on commercial electrical circuits, controls, motor systems, generator equipment and fire alarms. Position will also install data and electrical circuits in EMT, Rigid and PVC per electrical code. Position will be working with, and supervising inmates as well as other maintenance staff.
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program followed by one year of journey level electrician experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment.
A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, this position has been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in this position must submit to a pre-employment screening for controlled substances.
A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required.
