The Position
Reprographics Supervisors direct production operations, develop production standards and procedures, and schedule and monitor printing and reproduction of materials.
Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action.
This position is located within Nevada Department of Transportation's (NDOT) Administrative Services Division. This unit produces a variety of NDOT publications and materials for the department. Incumbent is responsible for the daily supervision and operations of the unit, including managing and directing work, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of jobs, and assisting clients in planning reprographics projects; and participating in set up, production, and finish work. This position must maintain quality standards for finished products and deliver customer service at a high level in a deadline-driven environment. This position also serves as first line supervisors for the Mail Clerk. Women and under-represented groups are encouraged to apply. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    Graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of experience which included responsibilities for producing multi-color work on a variety of offset duplicating machines and offset presses, photographing copy, stripping negatives, and platemaking; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
